Cheltenham Day 1 + Antepost UPDATE

I hope you all topped up the pot with the last MAX bet before the Festival .

Its upon us once again and hopes are high that we can come out the other end with the summer hols paid for .

As many of you well know we dont buy into all the rumours and over hype that is now part of the weeks building up to it.

We also try not to get too involved with numerous Antepost bets but one that we have had and put you all on is

As we have said in the past these are the ones that give us the biggest buzz as we know about them from when they arrive at the likes of Willies and follow them through their careers as many of you have all benefited and profited from.

This is one such one and after landing us a lovely TOUCH on debut on St.Stephens Day it then followed up with Ruby up at the same track at the Dublin Festival battling really well to get back up.

We have always been told that Willie loves to run one in this that will get 2mile 4 furlongs and in the future that is what this one will be doing but as we said back on debut it has real class and it speaks volumes that Willie has picked it for this and Ruby gets back on.

Any rain wont be a bother  as it will bring out its stamina.

Some are saying it doesnt have a lot of experience but they seem to be forgetting about its time in France where it gained valuable and plenty of  experience.

The latest we are hearing is that they are really sweet on its chances and if these lads dont know a Supreme one when they see it then nobody does as their winners in this speak for itself.

Obviously this week Ruby will get the choice whereas Paul is getting the plumb rides at home in his quest for the Jockeys title but when it comes to Cheltenham all bets are off and who knows it could be Rubys last!!

We are very confident that it is going to be the one to beat and we and our people are in very deep at the Antepost prices to get the Week off to a flier that we have done so so many times in past years.

We think it will go off clear favourite come post time.

As always I will do my best to bring you any bets the night before and also any meaningful news direct from the course.

We do have a couple of bets lined up already one of which we will be going for a nice TOUCH with and you do not want to miss it!(REPLY to SMS).

We may also have a few bets elsewhere as in previous years which have been very successful.

This may seem a little short but I dont want to cover everything here tonight as so much can happen between now and the participants landing as the majority havent even set sail yet.
